Date Posted 01/29/04 PIPES is now available to
all users, it stands for purchase order, invoice, payment enquiry system
http://www.uc.edu/controller/queries/pipeshome.aspx. Accounts payable
will begin sending invoices electronically instead of paper copies. If you
have ever missing an invoice, want to see if a check cleared, or see when a
check will be cut you can look in this system. It is a very useful too.

Date Posted 2/2/04 Robert F. Ambach has
joined the Academic Health Center as Associate Senior Vice President for Finance and
Administration. He is residing in 187 HPB. Bob previously worked for
the Office of the VP for Finance and is an alumnus. Make sure to say hello
to Bob if you see him out and about.

Medical Sciences Building renovation will begin in January. To keep

Date Posted 1/1/04 Effective January
1, 2004, the mileage reimbursement rate for University business travel by
automobile will be increased to 37.5 cents per mile from the current rate of 36
cents per mile. The existing rate is still valid for the remainder of
calendar year 2003.
